This Human Condition
In this work, Tony's eighth work of poetry and twenty first published book, he explores our human condition in many of its aspects: our faults, our predilections, our failures and potential. It is a philosophical work, exploring thoughts and lives that reveal who we are in such endless scope, the works become eclectic as a consequence.
The poems are penned in varying styles and techniques that both question and uncover many of our attributes, fears and strengths as a collective humanity. Some poems are spiritual in context, others with stark truths and imparted wisdom. But certainly, if you are a 'thinker', this collection of poetry will inspire your thoughts and dreams and perhaps force you to reconsider your perspective about who and what we are.

Tales of the Inner Self
This is Tony's seventeenth work and fifth in poetry, his greatest love. This book was inspired by childhood fairy tales, with morals and many layers of meaning to be discovered by young and old. It is written in classical poetic verse and is perhaps more esoteric at its center, offering truths about life and this wondrous journey of learning. It is his belief that the art of poetry remains a valid and underestimated form of creative writing, and the beauty of language should be preserved. For it touches the souls and inspires minds to seek beyond the mundane to discover life's potential, in both experience and expression. 68 page softcover $12.95 US Go to Amazon Bookstore |

His style is unique, his art honed and the simplicity of his connection with life and its potential, inspiring. ‘Suburbs of My Soul’ is a collection of the poet’s personal favorites, placing his heart upon the page with a warmth and honesty that transcends much of today’s poetic efforts. 104 page softcover $14.95 US Go to Amazon Bookstore |

Of Saints, Men & Heretics
This multi-layered novel examines the life of a unique soul born into the ravages and upheaval of 14th century England. It is a mystical story that follows the struggle of an enlightened young monk who is chosen as an initiate of a secret sect that reveal to him ancient knowledge and power beyond the world of mortals. As a devout Benedictine monk, the situation creates somewhat of an enigma for this boy, his immense faith opposing a new reality that he cannot refute. This struggle is set in a time when church was law and heretics cleansed at the stake with fire. All this takes place amid a backdrop of one of the most calamitous centuries in human history.
The secret world of the church, warring with France, the 'Pastoureau Movement' against serfdom, abject poverty, the 'Black Plague' and the 'Flagellant Movement' that all but tears the church apart, are but some of what this young soul must deal with on his unique life journey.
The story is insightful, heart-warming and tragic but above all thought provoking, revealing a turbulent life amid a dark history, and the knowledge that the light of truth and love will shine even in the darkest place. It reveals many ironies within life and revelations that can send a life-affirming shudder through what we so easily accept as reality.
A story with the depth & sensitivity that will captivate believer and non-believer alike.

Crossing the Line
This is Tony DeLorger’s 3rd book of poetry, and this time with over 800 poems he explores the human condition in a variety of poetic forms including prose, narrative, inspirational, lyrical, comical and satirical works. Unwilling to be tied down to one genre he explores with tenacity, the realities of life and human nature, sometimes with a sting, sometimes with a giggle, but always with a sense of vision and hope.
With few exceptions the poetry was written over a two year period and has not been collated or indexed in the belief that the reader is better served by the variety of styles and expression used to validate each individual work.
The work guides you through whimsy to the esoteric, philosophical and humorous always attempting to strip bare the secrets of life in a positive, thought-provoking manner.
‘You are quite literally a writer's writer and so very eloquent with words as if they were your best friends and they were delighted to be in your esteemed company. You are also quite simply a poet's poet as well and everything you write is so sublime, intelligent, deep and profound. Amen to you sir, Tony.’ Colin Stewart, fellow poet.
‘This masterful piece of art, expressed in words, offer the colors of a poets heart. They bring forth meanings, beauty, darkness, pasts, futures and seers of the future of mankind. They are voices crying in the wilderness and deep crevices of their minds. The poet is what you are sir, and I appreciate your art that you share with us from your keyboard. Tap, tap into the day and night, let your soul pour forth, your anxious readers await your next work.’
Vincent Moore, fellow poet.

The Theban Trilogy
The Theban Trilogy contains three books under one cover - The Mountain Diva of Thebos, Mangarna in Exile & The Theban War. This book is a fast-paced, thrilling fantasy, filled with diverse creatures, cultures, wizards, mystical beings & heart-warming characters that lead you through three intertwined adventures of good versus evil, struggle against adversity, redemption, finding love & finally learning that 'life itself is the greatest power of all'.
The Theban Trilogy will stay with you long after you've turned the final page. The Theban Trilogy (pronounced Thee-bon) explores the contention that cultural diversity need not lead to conflict and isolation, but can be the very glue that binds all life together as one.
The first book involves an evil wizard, stolen sacred crystals and a diabolical weapon that could control all living things. There is a hero, a quest, a love story and a coming together to fight for the common good. It is a classic tale of good versus evil, but with a far deeper message. It is touching and humorous as well as fast-paced and filled with adventure, the diverse cultures and characters enriching the experience.
The second book deals with redemption and the possibility that even the darkest soul can transform under the light of truth. It involves an exile, forced self-reliance and survival. Having found himself caught in the middle of an age-old war between two very different cultures, the once evil central character unwittingly becomes the peacemaker and transforms a desert into a paradise, evil into good and finds love along the way. There is hardship, a spy, double jeopardy, plots and counter plots, deception and in the end, averted war and eventual peace.
The third and final book brings together the characters from the two previous stories in a struggle against outside invaders bent on their destruction and the control of their island to initiate the conquest of the northern lands. Here old adversaries must learn to forgive past transgressions in order to succeed and rid the island of Terris of these warrior invaders. High adventure, conflict, strategy, old and new friendships with diverse characters make the finale to this saga a fascinating and compelling read. In the end integration, co-operation and the knowledge that good can conquer all accomplish victory and peace.
The book was written for young adults, but will beloved by younger children and adults alike. Good readers of 9 years + will love the experience.

Harold Be Thy Name
'If God was a close friend of yours, would you listen to his every word?' This is one story that tells you why we mere mortals are still here on earth. Harold be thy Name is a roller coaster ride of emotions, documenting a rather turbulent life over a forty year period. The book is an autobiography and begins in the outer suburbs of Sydney in 1959, centring on the life of a then seven-year-old boy named Josh Hayward.
What happens to Josh and his family over the next four decades will devastate you, send you to jelly, warm your heart, make you giggle, drive you crazy and above all get you to admit that 'truth is often stranger than fiction.'
This is the real story of a kid named Josh, who grew up just as confused as everyone else. It is also the story of his enduring relationship with Harold. If only Josh had listened to him a little more, he could have saved himself a great deal of trouble and heartbreak. But life is about having a go, and Josh and Harold went through more than a few experiences together.
In the end Josh didn't regret a single one, and Harold? Well, Harold's Harold! He nearly always has a smile on his face.
The truth just might drive you crazy, but life can throw curve balls all day long, and at some point we have to look at it and admit we're not as adept as we thought we were.

The Life Grid
The Life Grid is an extremely unique book. Even if you are not a 'New Age' type of person, but you do like to read your daily stars, this book is definitely for you. The Life Grid and associated text was written more than twenty years ago by medium, Della Gee. The symbols, meanings and written passages came into being through 'automatic writing', a process of spiritual communion undertaken in trance and without the conscious participation of the medium.
Some say that this process is a connection to a stream of knowledge that transcends our earthly reality. But whatever your view, the mystery and truths unveiled by the Life Grid and its teachings, are truly extraordinary. For the believer and non-believer alike, the Life Grid offers the opportunity to discover knowledge about your path in life, and to gain an insight into the spiritual journey.

A Question of Future
A Question of Future is in essence a social commentary on the state of society. The book reveals some shocking statistics and alarming trends that are affecting our way of life and our future. With populations exploding and issues of conflict, terrorism, education, poverty and health at the forefront of global concern, the human race is at a crossroad.
We are people of the Earth and we should, with common purpose, come together under a single banner. Not race, nor creed, nor religion divide us, we are of one human species, searching for survival.
What have we done? Where are we going? Will we survive? This book will shock you and hopefully inspire you to stand up and be counted. Governments, religions and people have to change before it is all too late. But we always have choice. We created this mess and we can turn it all around, but only if you and I decide that this is what we want for our sake and for our kids to have a future.
Hope lives eternal and the more of us that voice our disapproval with what is happening to our world, the quicker it will change. If we are not a part of the solution, then we are a part of the problem.
